While Halotherapy provides many health benefits, it is not meant to treat, cure, or prevent disease, and should not be used as a replacement or substitute for any current treatment or medications that have been prescribed by your doctor or healthcare professional. If you are currently under the care of a doctor or other healthcare provider, please contact him/her before beginning Halotherapy.
Although there are many health benefits to Halotherapy, not everyone will have the same results. Although rare, some people may experience temporary tickling of the throat, increased coughing (productive mucous drainage) and eye discomfort. Halotherapy is not recommended for people with contagious diseases, fever, open wounds, cancer, severe hypertension, mental disorders, active tuberculosis, cardiac insufficiency, bleeding, and acute stages of respiratory illnesses. Pregnant women should consult with their doctor before using Halotherapy. If you have any serious health concerns, you must seek proper medical advice and care before beginning Halotherapy sessions.
